With the exception of the goats and chickens, all of our animals are rescues from owners that were no longer able to keep them.
GOLIATH
A farmer gave him to us when he was two days old, because the mom died. He was bottle fed, kept in a dog pen, and went for walks with our dogs until he got too big. The USDA came by and said that they have been all over Virginia and they never seen a steer this huge. He was as gentle as a lamb throughout his life.
