Since 2008 we have a maintained a few beehives, only 2 to 5 colonies each year. With both of us working full time at our day jobs, we did not have the time to provide the best care. We know we could’ve done better. We retired in 2022 and we were able to greatly improve on our bee care. In 2023 we expanded to 8 colonies. We’re still learning from our “day to day” experiences with the bees. We’ve also gained a wealth of knowledge from our fellow beekeeper friends who are so willing to share. Occasionally we’ll take a progress photo or two. We’d like to share these photos with you.
